BABY SHOWER

Taryn and I threw a "surprise" baby shower for Stefanie. It was suppose to be at a park by our house and when we went to set up it was so windy and a sprinkler pipe broke so the whole park was flooded. With the help of Taryn making a few phone calls we were able to move it to the church. Once we got there and things settled down Taryn and I realized we never even called Stefanie to tell her it had moved to a different location...whoops!! It somehow all came together.

ST. GEORGE/VEGAS

We decided to take a friend trip down to St. George the boys went and golfed in my Mom's tournament. This trip was everything and then some.
Laurie, Me and Deb squished in the very back seat of the car on our way to dinner. We gave pregnant Stefanie the better seat.

The gang at dinner, we ate at Anazazi Steakhouse.

Then we went back to the house to play a little game of tennis and this was how Bob decided to grace us with his presence...
yes you had to look at this the whole time playing tennis
Ben and Laurie getting their game on
 Bob and Deb

The next morning the guys went golfing so the girls headed out to the pool for a couple hours of pure relaxation!!
Then it was off to Las Vegas where the boys dropped the girls off at the mall while they plopped themselves in the casino and gambled.
Having a break with our yogurts.

We finally reunited with our loved ones and hit up a Mexican restaurant
 Bob and Deb
 Laurie and Me
Laurie and Ben
 Jason and Stefanie
All the spouses sat by their wives but not our husbands they wanted to look like lovers staring into each others eyes.
So Deb and I went on a date with each other

They had a game the restaurant was playing and the DJ picked Quinn and Bob to participate
Got to stretch before they whoop on their competition which happen to be a little boy and a 16 year old girl celebrating her Birthday.
They won the task and was able to spin the wheel for a prize
Bob, Big Sexy (his name he gave himself not me) and Quinn

We finally left Vegas and headed back to St. George arriving back at 1:00 in the morning. Might I remind you I am not a late nighter but my second win kicked in and Bob and Deb were on board and we hopped on the scooters and took them for a tour of St. George and took them up to "make-out" point.
Bobby and Deb ready for their ride
 Quinner and I
Of course we had to get a group shot of us with the beautiful skyline of St. George

 The "D"

Then the fun begins by this point it is 3:00 in the morning and the 4 of us decided to go bombard Laurie and Ben while they are sleeping and jump on them. As you can tell in this picture Ben was very happy to see us at 3 in the morning and Laurie wants to just murder us:)
These pictures don't do it justice how funny this really was. If I am ornery I just have to look at these pictures and I will immediately get happy again.
We thought we would leave Stefanie and Jason alone since she was 8 months pregnant. Thanks to the Burt's for once again letting us stay at their house and I can't wait for the next trip!!

PARTY TIME!!

Hailey had her 9th Birthday and she wanted a Carnival themed party so that's what we rolled with. Laurie freaking rocked it on the party decorations and I was just glad my kids got the benefit of her hard work (when we thought P had chicken pox she was DEVASTATED she was going to have to miss this party). It was like you truly were at the carnival from the face painter, fortune teller, fishing pond and all the other games. After each game they received tickets and could go buy all kinds of prizes from the prize table.
 Walking into the Carnival
The spread of food...which consisted of Hot dogs and chips.
 The awesome tent cake
 Cotton candy and Popcorn
 Fortune telling booth
 Body Bumping
These things were awesome, I so wanted to try them so I did but my fat body couldn't get them on :(
Miss P also known as "Freaky Clown"
Caleb got an angry bird but I guess I never got a picture

CHICKEN POX???

On Sunday morning as we were getting ready to leave St. George I find 100's of red ants in the room we were staying in. I start to vacuum and clean them up, all while being bit by them. I then go into the kitchen and P is complaining of itching on her neck. I look and she had maybe 20 dots on her neck. I assumed she had been bitten by these dumb red ants as well. So we get ready to head out the door and start the drive home. The whole way home she complains of her ear hurting and her throat felt like she was going to throw up. We get home and I pull up her shirt and she is covered in them all over her back and stomach. We went a couple of hours and then decide I should take her into an Instacare just to check since I didn't know if I should send her to School the next morning. They confirm that she has chicken pox and that she needs to be quarantined. They said it will be a long night and starting tomorrow it's going to get a whole lot worse. The Doc says to "load up on Popsicles, yogurts, smoothies, crafts and movies" so that's just what I did. Well roll around Monday morning P is happy as a clam, no complaints about itching, so we hang out all day on Monday. Tuesday same thing happy, no itching but they said by then she will be itching so bad, fevers and the spots will start scabbing, well that never happened. So Tuesday I decide to take her into my doctor they say mostly likely chicken pox but there's also a thing called Hot tub Facilitates (?) It's a bacteria that causes a rash with a white head on them. They don't itch and will go away within 5-7 days. (Saturday night P got into my Mom's hot tub). The doctor said by Wednesday if they still have not scabbed over then it's definitely the Hot Tub and that she is not contagious and the rash will fade and sure enough each day they faded and now are all gone. It was sure fun to have my girl back with me for 4 days straight but I was also excited to get her back to School and she was excited to get to play with friends again.

This picture doesn't even show how many she really had
At Instacare she was really emotional and thought she was going to have to get a shot

It was cute on Monday Caleb gets off the bus carrying this big heart. All of Peyton's classmates signed this heart and told her to get well soon!!

TUACHAN

We had our annual girls trip to St. George to go see Aladdin and Hairspray. Luckily the last two years they have done Disney plays so Miss P has been lucky enough to join us thanks to Grandma B. It was a fun trip to say the least and P enjoyed the show sooo much and was an absolute angel.
All ready to head to the show with Miss Jasmine and Mini Jasmine all buckled up for safety.
 Love this Little Miss
The Girls all ready to watch the show
Aunt Lindsey, Grandma, Miss P, Me and Aunt Loni
Sooo excited for the show to begin. Her face was priceless at times and she wouldn't stop talking in amazement over the things they were doing. "Like the magic carpet flying, the 3D effects to make it look like Aladdin was in the cave, how beautiful Jasmine was, how funny genie was, where's Abu, where's Raja the tiger." Next year I am going to make one of my sisters sit by her so I can actually listen to the play:)
 Grandma and her girl
She even got to meet Aladdin, Jasmine and the genie
2 seconds later she was OUT!!

The next night we left Miss P home with Dad and went to Hairspray but I almost wish I would have brought her because she would have loved all the dancing and singing.

FAMILY

My family was also nice enough and threw me a little get together up at my sister Lindsey's house for my Birthday!!
