NASHVILLE BABY!

Quinn and I's 10 year Anniversary was coming up and I knew we needed to getaway on a little vacation. We thought of some places to go and narrowed our list down. Hawaii, California even Chicago and in the end we came to Nashville. I know sounds crazy but it was a place I have always wanted to go to and I am so glad I did it's AMAZING and beautiful. I really want to move there but the heat w/ humidity = scary hair for Kelli but bonus was how AMAZING my skin felt. On our agenda was a whole lot of "us" time. We would wake up around 9:00-10:00 head to breakfast, head out running, (not smart considering how hot it was) pool time, head out for the night, repeat for the next 4 days. Thanks to  Laurie, Loni and Quinn's Parents for helping with my kiddos and keeping them safe and entertained.

RANDOM PICTURES THROUGHOUT THE TRIP
The first night driving into the city.
 LP stadium
Where the Tennessee Titans played and where the concert was
The famous street. This street is hopping all night we went to a Karaoke bar and could stay for hours considering how drunk and horrible all the singers were...cheap entertainment!!
The houses....oh the houses. How bad I want one and their yards...amazing!!
No matter the house size their yards were spectacular.
 Running in the park
Quinn forgot to check us in for the airplane so I got stuck sitting between 2 random dudes but they were both from Tennessee and gave me all the places to go see and visit that were for locals, they did not disappoint!!
Another great running trail we hit.
Seriously trees line the streets and freeway EVERYWHERE.
Before the concert I made Quinn go over to the Country Music Hall of Fame. Kind of lame but o-well it's something I can mark off my too see list.

My 10 yr anniversary
First off lets start off with my Hubby, cant believe its been 10 whole years. I love you more and more everyday. You are a great husband, father, friend, son and etc. to everyone. I am so grateful that I meet and married you, you mean the world to me!! Here's to many, many more anniversary's!!

GRAND OLE OPRY
We headed there on Friday night. It was a lot smaller and more intimate then I pictured. It's a live radio broadcast so they had commercials and sponsors. It was a lot more talking and less singing then I pictured. Still a cool iconic place to visit. The night we were there it was Mark Wills and Big and Rich. Big Kenny was hilarious and a little of a spaz. Mark Wills has an amazing song called "Don't laugh at me" I am sure a lot have heard it, if not google it the words are amazing and so true. So later that night they brought out 25 Special needs kids and they sang a song which was the cutest thing I have EVER seen. They were SOOOO excited and were having so much fun. Sometimes it's the small things in life that mean so much!!
 HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BABE

This guy was hilarious he was 91 years old and a whole whopping 4ft 11in. I think he was some legend in the Country World and now I cant remember his name...whoops!

Aren't they the cutest?

KENNY AND TIM

SATURDAY NIGHT
BROTHER'S OF THE SUN CONCERT
KENNY and TIM

Saturday at 4:30 we headed over to the stadium to get ready for the concert. Luke Bryan played for an hour then Grace Potter. After Luke got done playing we were a HOT, sweaty mess and needed to get out of the sun for a minute so we went into the tunnels. Just in our little area we saw 3 people suffer from heat stroke and ambulances being called in to take them to the hospital. Call me CRAZY but if this little white girl from Utah can handle the heat...shouldn't they?:) Then the fun began my Timmy came out and played his heart out and looked good in his white, then my next man Kenny came out and looked just as good in his tight jeans. Then the two together came out and played 4 songs together. Let me tell you they can play and make an awesome concert!! We got back to our car at 11:30 at night so needless to say we were exhausted and ready to get to bed.

 Heading into the concert
You park in downtown Nashville and then head over on a bridge that's just for pedestrians.
 Beautiful Downtown Nashville
I told you he looked good in white, I think he is the only Man who can pull that off:)
Then the beautiful Faith Hill came out and sang one song with her hubby
They seriously are the cutest couple they looked like they were so in love
Then out came my man Kenny

He popped up in the middle of the crowd and rode his chair onto the stage
 Getting the crowd pumped up
Grace and Kenny singing "You and Tequila"
It was Grace's Birthday so Kenny hired a local High School Band to come play while the whole crowd sang "Happy Birthday"
 Reunited at last
The stadium was absolutely crazy and the amount of people there were insane.
To go see what a real concert is like you have to go see them in Nashville

JUST KEEP GOING

We headed out on a hike that Zach recommended up in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Little did we know it was a little steep and rocky elevation for the kids but we did it and had a blast!!
Getting ready to head out on our hike
I had to show them how dirty their little butts got, guess I shouldn't send her in white shorts.
 LOVE
Tate, Peyton and Caleb

Caleb had to carve his initials in the tree

I laugh at this picture because it looks like Zach is
my husband and these are our kids. Shelley is pregnant
and wasn't feeling good enough to go on the hike.

LOVE MY KIDDOS!!

Uncle Zach and Gramps

Almost there...in the words of Peyton "I think I might die if I go any further or this is the hardest thing I have ever done in my whole life" Got to love that drama Queen. Caleb is a stud and lead the whole way and never complained and wished we would have kept going.
WE ARRIVED
This was the pretty lake we hiked up too. The kids learned how to skip rocks, catch squirrels (well try), and carved out initials in trees.

We had our annual Chickation down to St. George with my Mother-in-law and Sister-in-laws.
We of coursed shopped then went to Tuacahn and saw Aladdin and Hairspray. I loved them both but I thought Aladdin went away from the movie a little bit.
It has the most beautiful setting ever
