SHINING STAR!!

Peyton was the Shining Star at Preschool this week, she was so excited and bugged me for weeks to make her poster. She then filled her suitcase with all her favorite things and we brought her favorite treat. She sometimes is so shy and so I thought I might have to talk about her but I was wrong she hopped right in there and told them all about her. She was so cute and it was fun to watch her interact with her schoolmates.
Don't worry her poster didn't look like this I am just weird about our last name being out there. Some of her favorites things are: Ariel,Pizza,Pink,Max & Ruby,Dancing,Tubing,Jumping, Strawberries and Swimming.
She got to adorn the Shining Star Crown as well.
She felt special all day. It's so much work for the Mom's to get these posters all together but they really do get excited!!

SNOW FUN!!

Quinn was out of town one week and my Mom was in town up in Deer Valley so we decided to take a little drive up there and go sleep at G-ma's hotel. The kids had a lot of fun. They had an arcade room with all different games, we played some darts and then headed out to go swimming in the pool.
This is what we got to overlook in the morning it was so beautiful!!
The kiddos playing a little game on the Wii.
Just because they are cute before we headed out to go swimming.
Then we headed out to this...
A blizzard
At least the water was super warm, it was actually really fun to swim in the snow.
But then we returned to this..
shoes and clothes covered in snow. So we of course had to just book it to the doors all while trying to carry everything and Peyton crying about "how cold she is" Really because I was so warm!!
Then the next morning we had some breakfast and headed out to the outlets. I will tell you there was some major deals going on. Maybe due to the fact that not to many crazy people would go shopping in that kind of weather.
I think my kids were getting sick of pictures by this point!!

TRICK OR TREAT

We had another fun and successful year out Trick or treating. We usually head up to Quinn's parents house but this year my kids wanted to stay home and go with friends. We started the night out by heading to a neighbor who throws a big "eat before you treat" party then we were off. Caleb headed out with Zach and his Dad I took the girls (Peyton, Annie and Mylie) with me and Quinn stayed home to pass out candy. We got to about 10 houses and Peyton was done because she was scared and just wanted to go home. So I dropped Peyton and Mylie off and me and Annie went to a couple of houses. Finally I was able to meet up with Caleb and go with him for a while. They both looked great in their costumes and Peyton already has next years outfit picked out. Maybe we could get 15 houses out of her!!

HAUNTED HOUSE
There is a house in our neighborhood that goes ALL out and has a real Haunted House in their garage. So the boys wanted to head there and same with tough Annie. It was truly an amazing haunted house and the best part it was free but was just as good as the ones you pay $ for!!

WITCHES BREAKFAST

We headed to Garner Village to the Witches Breakfast. My friend Laurie and I have been doing this for the past 3 years and the kids love it. The food is nasty and plastic tasting but we do it for the kids...right? Laurie got the tickets this year and thought she bought the 10:30 seating but she got the earliest morning possible so off we were bright and early but I must say I think I like the early morning seating better. We got front row parking and after the breakfast was over we were able to walk around for about 40 min before anyone else showed up. Then came the whole freaking state and we decided it was time to bail. It's a fun little tradition and the withes are great with the kids!!
Hailey, Peyton, Kam and Caleb with the Witch, this witch was hilarious and so good with the kids!!

PEYTON'S PARTY

After Caleb's Party we moved onto Peyton's, I think I was pretty tired after Caleb's so I did not take very many pictures and now I am so sad I didn't. We played 3 games and did 2 crafts. I think Peyton still had fun and luckily she is pretty easy to please!!

We did the donut game and that was pretty entertaining to watch these little ones but in the end they all ended up just grabbing and eating them.

I am so mad I didn't take a picture of all the girls before they left.

MAD SCIENTIST

Every year I throw my kids a Halloween party. This year Caleb wanted a "Mad Scientist Party" but that was not flying with Peyton. So I had the crazy idea to throw 2 parties. I told the kids they each get 9 friends and that was it and I must say besides planning 2 parties, I loved only having 10 kids here I felt like I had control of them and was able to do fun stuff!! Then the next brilliant idea was to put the kids outside in the garage. Besides blowing the breaker like 10 times it went well and I think we all had fun experimenting!!

ANGRY SQUIRRELS!!

Caleb was able to get on a Flag Football team that was our whole neighborhood of boys. He improved sooo much this year and absolutely loves Football!! He can't wait to play pads next year, his Mom not so much. Have you seen this kid? He is all sticks and bones and the first hit someone does to my little boy I might have a couple of choice words for them:) I'm am J/K but it was so fun to go to all his games. He was a flag pulling King, now if we can get a little speed on him so he can score a touchdown!! Way to go Angry Squirrels, we walked away being 7-1.
