QUINN IS 30!!!

Quinn hates his Birthday and would be happy with no one saying Happy Birthday to him, I know very grumpy!! So I took the opportunity to throw him a SURPRISE party for his 30th. I was so scared the night of the party because I thought he was going to be soooo mad at me but in the end he thanked me and said he had FUN!! We went to Rock Creek Pizza with about 15 friends, thanks to everyone who came out!! Happy Birthday Quinn and we still love you even though you are so OLD!!

CALEB'S 6th BIRTHDAY!

I am very sorry for this picture OVERLOAD but heck it's Caleb's Birthday!! I want to wish my buddy the BEST birthday ever. Caleb is the sweetest boy EVER, this kid could play from the morning he wakes up to the minute we are forcing him to go to bed. He loves School and has meet so many friends there, every day I go and pick him up I have a kid asking if they can come to our house to play with him. He is so sweet to his sister and his parents and our life would not be complete without him. We love you!! A few things he loves right now:
* Loves to play the Wii especially Super Mario(hence the party theme)
*He loves to play board games
*Loves to play with friends
*Loves to learn
*Loves Karate
*Loves to watch the Jazz
*Loves to meet new friends
*Loves to play X-box with his Dad
Just a few things about our Caleb

We gave Caleb a air hockey table for his birthday
Caleb wanted a Mario party and there was not a lot of ideas out there so I had to make a lot of the stuff but I love it and this is why I start planning their parties months before their Birthday's.
My attempt at making a cake it actually turned out cute just not edible so we resorted to Walmart making the cupcakes. In the words of a six year old that is "stupid" that I would make a cake that we could not eat!

The darn pinata, I made this thinking I could do it and it was a disaster. Luckily in the end it came together but I advise you not to make one. I forgot to put a string in it and it was so flimsy that you could tell in the picture below we resorted to it sitting on a bin for them to hit.

I had to take a picture of this because Quinn is not such a fan of having this many kids here let alone surrounding him, I was laughing pretty hard.

There was a prize involved so this was serious business

If anyone ever needs stuff for a Mario party I have it, I painted all those cutouts of them and I hate to throw them away!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CALEB!!

CABIN FEVER!!

Last week we were invited up to our friends parents cabin(did that make sense) up in Island Park. It was so pretty up there and a lot of fun. Quinn bought a snowmobile the month before and was just dying to use it. The boys pretty much rode the whole time and us girls brought up our sewing machines and sewed cute skirts, such the betty homemakers we were. It was a nice relaxing weekend filled with LOTS of yummy food. Thanks for the invite Georges!!

Quinn on his snowmobile
I was just snapping pictures so I am not sure who this is either Quinn, Ben or Dallas getting some air. I had only been on a snowmobile one other time and most of that time Quinn was digging me out. So I was the picture taker while they did these tricks I was excited for me to just to be driving and not stuck in 5 feet of snow, pinned up against a tree in a BLIZZARD all the while getting icicles on my eyelashes because it was so COLD (not the best 1st experience for me snowmobiling) It was a lot more fun the 2nd time now if only I could keep up with all of them, even the girls Laurie and Lindsey were fast.
Getting ready to do some tricks
I totally put 2 of these pictures in but o-well and least it is my hot husband

UTAH JAZZ!!

We love our Jazz here at our house. My mom's work has a suite and so I talked her into taking me and Quinn. What better way to see a game while sitting in comfortable seats, eating all the food you can imagine, and a bathroom right there. Best of all they won the Nuggets that night!!

CHILDREN'S MUSEUM

We decided to take a trip down to the Children' s Museum recently with some friends. I thought I would be brave and ride tracks down there. Lets just say we have some WEIRDO'S in this world but also some nice ones. Peyton fell asleep on the way home in my lap so I had the stroller, all my shopping bags (had to hit a few stores while I was there of course) purses, coats you name it I had it. Trying to lug that all off of the train before it took off was not easy. So luckily there was a nice man to help me with all my crap. But anyways the kids had a blast, we were there for like 5 hours and I had to beg them to leave. I did not get a ton of pictures because they were all over the place I could not get them to stop long enough to take their pictures. Peyton was in heaven at the grocery area and Caleb was a fan of the ball section and the Construction area.

GO HORNS!!

Making the trip down to Disneyland was a little planned once our Longhorns made it to the National Championship game we knew we were going. Luckily Quinn has some clients who live in Texas and are season ticket holders so we were able to score some tickets from him. Quinn's parents took the kids all day, they went to the Zoo (hopefully I will get pictures from her) and then they got to have a sleepover at their hotel with them. So we woke up and went to Universal Studios and then headed to the game. That place is a joke, it is sooo old that they have 2 entrances but that does not work to well with 100,000 people so we all herded into the stadium like cows. We finally make it into our seats and then the festivities began with the beautiful National Anthem being sung by Josh Groban and the fly over of the jets (those are sooo cool and loud). Then it goes down from there with your starting quarterback going down on the 1ST play and bringing in your TRUE freshman quarterback to try and win the National Championship Game for you. We made a good comeback in the end but weren't able to pull it off. I can tell you had Colt been in we would have "rolled" them (a little joke because their saying is "roll tide" and that was what all their fans were saying that they "rolled" us.) Still what a GREAT experience to go and the ride back to the hotel not so much fun with Quinn. Me my team loses I am bummed and then get over it, Quinn I think lost sleep that night and the week that followed. Thanks honey for the fun day and we still love our Horns!!!
