BUSTED!!

We have some awesome neighbors but they make a poor choice on who they root for in Football, so we decided we would show them the right team:)!! We came up with the brilliant plan to "Y" them. The night before the big game we got all the kids together late that night and snuck over there. We never saw their lights on so we thought they were out of town so we let the kids be so loud and run around come to find out they were totally home, so luckily we didn't get caught!! It was all fun in games and they got the sweeter revenge anyways!! Of course little boys can't keep it a secret and told Carson the next day.
All the kids with the "masterpiece"
Kayden, Zach, Caleb, Luke, Jake and Peyton
We put up a huge balloon banner in BLUE & WHITE. The next morning I hear this pop, pop and I look outside and Adam is popping all the blue balloons but giving his little boy all the white ones!!
Don't worry we took down the flag but I was to cheap to buy a Y flag knowing it was probably going to go straight to the garbage can.
Caleb & Zach
The boys doing the damage

The person in charge of making the Y, caught red handed
Can you identify him by his butt?
The next morning we woke up to this he replaced the Y with a U
Then the sweetest revenge the blowout of a score
Quinn and I were driving home from the game and we pull up to see Adam spray painting this on his lawn, too good and too funny!!
It was all fun and games but be prepared for next year!!

IM BORED!!

"Im bored" was what I heard about 100 times on Saturday so I had some leftover crepe paper so the kids made crepe traps in the hallway and played for a good 2 hours straight. They limboed, jumped, rolled and make believed every possible situation and I had fun watching and listening to the kids have fun with each other!!
Isn't it true the littlest things can be so fun?

BASEBALL

Caleb decided to give Baseball a try this season, the last time he played he was 4 but he did good considering that's not a strong sport in our house. He pretty much always hit the ball, maybe only struck out 3 times the whole season. He enjoyed playing but I think this kid just enjoys whatever sport he is playing at the time.
Waiting for the ball to come his way
Got to hit the plate before you take a swing
Swing
Take off
Arrive at 1st base
Hydrating after a hard game
Final hurrah as a team

The sweet medals you receive after a long, hard fought battle on the fields.
WAY TO GO BUDDY!!

A HOUSE DIVIDED

Last week BYU and Texas played we are fans of both but had to make the choice of who we wanted to win. Peyton goes with whatever Quinn tells her, that girl never wants to break her Daddy's heart I decided for Longhorns (because Quinn threatened me j/K) Quinn is full blown Longhorns fan and poor Caleb was confused. Earlier that morning he had on his Longhorns shirt so I said "your going to go for Longhorns " and he was like "well I really want BYU but I don't want Dad mad at me" So I proceeded to tell him to root for whoever you want, not what someone else wants. So Quinn had to have a conversation with Caleb that he wouldn't be mad and that it was all for fun. But low and behold Longhorns pulled out the win!!
The family divided. Poor Caleb was the only one for the Y so he recruited someone to be with him and that someone was....
CHASE!!
Maybe it happened to be that he just had on blue that day but Caleb doesn't need to know that he was certain that Chase was going for the Y!!

MISSING TOOTH!!

Caleb finally lost his front tooth. A while back Quinn was playing Baseball with Caleb and the ball hit Caleb in the face knocking it loose. It was not loose at all so that thing was not ready to come out so for the last month he has tried and tried to make it come loose and it finally payed off and our neighbor Bob pulled it for him, he was beyond excited.
He got out his "tooth pillow" and wrote a note to the Tooth Fairy and surprise she showed up with a little something, he ran down first thing in the morning to show us.
So excited to go to bed that night
Fast forward a week later and we lost the second front tooth, by getting hit in the face with a football at School, (obviously he isn't the best catcher:)) Caleb said he got hit so hard that his tooth flew over a whole mile. So his buddies and him were not able to find his tooth but the tooth fairy managed to still come even without the tooth. Then last night he lost a bottom one that was actually just ready to come out!!
He is soon going to have no teeth left if he keeps loosing them and one broke tooth fairy!!

MY BABY!!

How can it be that another year has come and gone and she is in her last year of Preschool before she heads off to BIG girl School!! I changed her School this year and was a little nervous how she would be but she did AWESOME. I went to go walk her up to the door and she informed me that "I am big enough to do it myself Mom" so off my little girl went:( She has enjoyed everything about it and gets so excited for Preschool days!!
So sassy

Off she goes:(
Luckily I had Chase with me so I didn't come home to a empty house and want to cry!!

Some of Peyton's favorite things about Preschool in her own words:
* Likes to play with toys *Likes her friends there * Likes to learn new stuff * Likes her teacher

HIKING

We headed up on Labor Day to go hiking up Dog Lake. We have been watching my friends little guy for the last 8 days but I thought we would give it a try. We were a little mis informed on how long the hike was so after about 3 miles up and Chase starting to lose it Quinn and I decided to head back down and wait for them so Chase could fall asleep in the car. So after all that hiking we didn't even get to see the actual lake but at least Caleb did.
Grandpa and Caleb finally reaching the lake.

At least it had some pretty views
My little hikers before mile one
Chase happy and digging the backpack
Caleb collecting a walking stick
This was how the poor guy ended the hike, he looked so uncomfortable.
