BORING!

I realize this funny moment was a while ago but it was to good not to write down. So we went to the Draper temple open house about 3 weeks ago. We went with all of Quinn's family so of course Caleb was up with Grandma & we were more in the back so I am not sure all the questions he was asking but when we got home that night Quinn took him to bed & as Caleb was saying the prayer he says, "Thank you for letting me go to Heavenly fathers home, even though it was the most boring thing ever." So Quinn is trying not to bust out laughing for the rest of the prayer so then Caleb gets done & looks at Quinn & says huh Dad that was the most boring thing wasn't it? Too funny!

ST. GEORGE

Quinn had to work a whole week in Las Vegas so he dropped us off at my mom's house for the week. We didn't really do much, it was actually pretty cold down there. Then Quinn came home for the weekend and watched the kids so I could go shopping with my mom and go to the Parade of Homes without the little kiddos. So to pass the time with Dad he took them to the river by my mom's house and let them throw rocks in the river, they did this for hours. The pictures were to cute so I had to post them. Then on Valentines Day we woke up and had some heart pancakes and then my mom watched the kids so me and Quinn could go have a dinner together. We got reservations so we only waited about 20 minutes but some people were waiting 3 hours to eat (so not worth it to me). Thanks for a great weekend to my mom and to Quinn for letting me have a little break from the kids.Caleb & Peyton playing in the sand

BROKEN COMPUTER

My computer broke & is getting fixed so all my pictures are on it, so I will write what we have been up to NOTHING! We truly have not been doing much it is so COLD & every other day we have so much smog that they tell us NOT to go outside. We did go to Chuck E Cheese's but forgot the camera so no pictures. Caleb has been skiing with Quinn a couple more times & has been doing awesome, I am so jealous I am recovering better everyday. The doc says 6-8 weeks & it has been 4 weeks so hopefully soon. We are heading to St. George this weekend so maybe we will do something fun & have WARMER weather. Hopefully my computer will be fixed soon & I can post some pictures Quinn had a pretty cool experience with some Utah Jazz players so I will post it when I can.

KNEE UPDATE

For those who are so concerned about me, I am going to survive. I had a dislocated patella(knee cap) and torn meniscus. I went to the doc & he did some physical therapy on me & it is feeling alot better. I am able to walk now without crutches but still is a little painful. I will be in a knee brace & have physical therapy for 8 weeks. I was sick of seeing the same post but we truly have not done anything for almost 2 weeks so I thought I would post an update. Quinn has never been so excited for our credit card but I am so BORED!

SKI FUN!

We went up to Brighton yesterday to take Caleb to his very 1st ski lesson. He did so AWESOME! They moved him up to a level 2 skier right away because they said he was picking it up so well. We only had one minor problem, me & Quinn decided we would go skiing while Caleb was in ski school. On the very 1st run we were going down and I got going way to fast and hit a bump & went flying. I instantly felt a snap in my leg & could not move. We got down to the lodge & I had to sit there for 3 hours until Caleb finished his class. Then we came home & went to the doctors, there was so much swelling they could not determine for sure what it was but they think I tore my ACL. It was the most painful thing EVER! I cannot walk & so everyone is having to come & take care of me. I was sad I was never able to see Caleb ski but Quinn got video of him so I need to learn how to post videos so you can see him. It was too cute! When Caleb saw me & we told him what had happened he asked me why I just didn't make a pizza slice to slow down, it was cute! Me, Caleb & Quinn before ski school

SANTA CAME!

What a Christmas! Quinn's parents came up here at 8:00 in the morning, but we still had 2 sleeping children we actually had to go & wake up Caleb & he still did not want to get up, weird kid I remember as a kid not being able to sleep that night. So we did the typical opening all the presents had our breakfast & then we lounged around all day & then headed back up to Quinn's parents to celebrate with all the brothers & sisters. We had dinner then went over to the church & played a little Basketball then headed home (in a blizzard) then my Dad came up & spoiled the kids rotten as well. We celebrate Christmas with my mom the next day & she to spoiled them & us like CRAZY! Peyton & Caleb Christmas morning in their new PJ's

CHRISTMAS EVE!

On Christmas Eve we had one of the best experiences ever. Quinn's dad is a Bishop in his ward & some how found a family in Provo that was not going to have Christmas for their 3 kids, so we decide to do a Sub for Santa for the whole family. So our family, Quinn's parents, sister, bro-in law, & Caleb's cousins all headed to Walmart & gave these kids a GREAT Christmas! The boys headed to the toy department & picked out toys for each kid, then me & Pepper went to the clothes & got them some new outfits. It was so fun to see how excited all the kids were to help them out, each of them brought their own money & donated it to help out. Then we came to our house wrapped all the presents & then drove to Provo to deliver them. We knocked on their door & then hid so they could not see us. It was so fun to watch the Dad's face when he saw everything. I hope they enjoyed their Christmas because I know our family felt so great with what we did. Then we headed to Olive Garden to eat & then home to hurry & bake some cookies for Santa, opened our PJ's & headed to bed. I am so grateful for Christmas & the true meaning of it. Thanks for the fun night everyone!Caleb, Taylor, Connor picking out the toys
