THANKSGIVING!!

We headed down to sunny St. George for Thanksgiving this year. We had a fun filled weekend of good food, great company, shopping, Bingo game and lots of laughing. My Uncle Mike, Cousin Crystal and her husband Rory joined us this year as well.We headed out on Black Friday with the other billion people but didn't go until much later in the day so not to many deals left but still had fun!! Headed to Tuachan to see Santa and rode dirt bikes a lot!! Quinn and I even snuck in a date night, when you have that many free babysitters you better believe we were taking advantage of that!!
I am so thankful for this time of the year before the hustle and bustle of Christmas to reflect on ALL the blessings we really do have:
I have a GREAT husband and kids, amazing parents, siblings, in-laws, cousins, uncle and aunts, friends, food on the table at all times, a roof over my head, a car, jobs, clothes, heat and A&C, water, electricity and much much more!! There really isn't much to complain about huh?
Before Thanksgiving we headed out to our annual Turkey Bowl. Great times, great hits, crashes, slides and all in the name of fun!!
Getting ready to whoop on them!!
Look at their determination on their faces to try and win, but to bad it didn't happen!!
Rory the "monster" plowing his way through us little folks
The family after a hard game of turkey bowl!!
The "WINNING" team
The whole gang after another successful year of TURKEY BOWL
We only walked away with a concussion from Brad and a broken finger by Crystal

PEYTON'S DARE
My Mom and I left to go get the gifts for the bingo game and I get a text from my uncle telling me to control my child. I thought it was her eating pie with no utensils so I laughed and showed my Mom and she was like "that's not pie, that's butter!!" So this is what happens when the Mom leaves the house for 30 mins? My Uncle Mike,Crystal and her husband thought they would dare her to eat it and she did!! She did score $5.00 off of Rory though, she was so proud of herself after.
Just beginning her lovely dare, at least they held her hair back for her:)
Look at her go!!
They dared Caleb but he's not as "smart" as her and he said NO!!
She's loving it

DISNEY ON ICE!!

Princess's-check, 5 happy girls-check, one fun day-check.
My neighbor works for channel 2 news and his wife was going to be out of town while it was here. So he came up with the brilliant idea if I would take his girls he would give me 6 tickets. So I of course called up Laurie and told her to come with us as well. It was a really fun day and those girls did not move an inch the ENTIRE show!!
I am so mad, I accidentally left my camera in the car so I could only take pictures with the crappy phone camera.
This was how this girl was the whole show
All the Princess's coming out in the end
Rapunzel and Flynn

SHINING STAR!!

Peyton was the Shining Star at Preschool this week, she was so excited and bugged me for weeks to make her poster. She then filled her suitcase with all her favorite things and we brought her favorite treat. She sometimes is so shy and so I thought I might have to talk about her but I was wrong she hopped right in there and told them all about her. She was so cute and it was fun to watch her interact with her schoolmates.
Don't worry her poster didn't look like this I am just weird about our last name being out there. Some of her favorites things are: Ariel,Pizza,Pink,Max & Ruby,Dancing,Tubing,Jumping, Strawberries and Swimming.
She got to adorn the Shining Star Crown as well.
She felt special all day. It's so much work for the Mom's to get these posters all together but they really do get excited!!

SNOW FUN!!

Quinn was out of town one week and my Mom was in town up in Deer Valley so we decided to take a little drive up there and go sleep at G-ma's hotel. The kids had a lot of fun. They had an arcade room with all different games, we played some darts and then headed out to go swimming in the pool.
This is what we got to overlook in the morning it was so beautiful!!
The kiddos playing a little game on the Wii.
Just because they are cute before we headed out to go swimming.
Then we headed out to this...
A blizzard
At least the water was super warm, it was actually really fun to swim in the snow.
But then we returned to this..
shoes and clothes covered in snow. So we of course had to just book it to the doors all while trying to carry everything and Peyton crying about "how cold she is" Really because I was so warm!!
Then the next morning we had some breakfast and headed out to the outlets. I will tell you there was some major deals going on. Maybe due to the fact that not to many crazy people would go shopping in that kind of weather.
I think my kids were getting sick of pictures by this point!!

TRICK OR TREAT

We had another fun and successful year out Trick or treating. We usually head up to Quinn's parents house but this year my kids wanted to stay home and go with friends. We started the night out by heading to a neighbor who throws a big "eat before you treat" party then we were off. Caleb headed out with Zach and his Dad I took the girls (Peyton, Annie and Mylie) with me and Quinn stayed home to pass out candy. We got to about 10 houses and Peyton was done because she was scared and just wanted to go home. So I dropped Peyton and Mylie off and me and Annie went to a couple of houses. Finally I was able to meet up with Caleb and go with him for a while. They both looked great in their costumes and Peyton already has next years outfit picked out. Maybe we could get 15 houses out of her!!

HAUNTED HOUSE
There is a house in our neighborhood that goes ALL out and has a real Haunted House in their garage. So the boys wanted to head there and same with tough Annie. It was truly an amazing haunted house and the best part it was free but was just as good as the ones you pay $ for!!

WITCHES BREAKFAST

We headed to Garner Village to the Witches Breakfast. My friend Laurie and I have been doing this for the past 3 years and the kids love it. The food is nasty and plastic tasting but we do it for the kids...right? Laurie got the tickets this year and thought she bought the 10:30 seating but she got the earliest morning possible so off we were bright and early but I must say I think I like the early morning seating better. We got front row parking and after the breakfast was over we were able to walk around for about 40 min before anyone else showed up. Then came the whole freaking state and we decided it was time to bail. It's a fun little tradition and the withes are great with the kids!!
Hailey, Peyton, Kam and Caleb with the Witch, this witch was hilarious and so good with the kids!!
