CABIN FEVER!!

Last week we were invited up to our friends parents cabin(did that make sense) up in Island Park. It was so pretty up there and a lot of fun. Quinn bought a snowmobile the month before and was just dying to use it. The boys pretty much rode the whole time and us girls brought up our sewing machines and sewed cute skirts, such the betty homemakers we were. It was a nice relaxing weekend filled with LOTS of yummy food. Thanks for the invite Georges!!

Quinn on his snowmobile
I was just snapping pictures so I am not sure who this is either Quinn, Ben or Dallas getting some air. I had only been on a snowmobile one other time and most of that time Quinn was digging me out. So I was the picture taker while they did these tricks I was excited for me to just to be driving and not stuck in 5 feet of snow, pinned up against a tree in a BLIZZARD all the while getting icicles on my eyelashes because it was so COLD (not the best 1st experience for me snowmobiling) It was a lot more fun the 2nd time now if only I could keep up with all of them, even the girls Laurie and Lindsey were fast.
Getting ready to do some tricks
I totally put 2 of these pictures in but o-well and least it is my hot husband

UTAH JAZZ!!

We love our Jazz here at our house. My mom's work has a suite and so I talked her into taking me and Quinn. What better way to see a game while sitting in comfortable seats, eating all the food you can imagine, and a bathroom right there. Best of all they won the Nuggets that night!!

CHILDREN'S MUSEUM

We decided to take a trip down to the Children' s Museum recently with some friends. I thought I would be brave and ride tracks down there. Lets just say we have some WEIRDO'S in this world but also some nice ones. Peyton fell asleep on the way home in my lap so I had the stroller, all my shopping bags (had to hit a few stores while I was there of course) purses, coats you name it I had it. Trying to lug that all off of the train before it took off was not easy. So luckily there was a nice man to help me with all my crap. But anyways the kids had a blast, we were there for like 5 hours and I had to beg them to leave. I did not get a ton of pictures because they were all over the place I could not get them to stop long enough to take their pictures. Peyton was in heaven at the grocery area and Caleb was a fan of the ball section and the Construction area.

GO HORNS!!

Making the trip down to Disneyland was a little planned once our Longhorns made it to the National Championship game we knew we were going. Luckily Quinn has some clients who live in Texas and are season ticket holders so we were able to score some tickets from him. Quinn's parents took the kids all day, they went to the Zoo (hopefully I will get pictures from her) and then they got to have a sleepover at their hotel with them. So we woke up and went to Universal Studios and then headed to the game. That place is a joke, it is sooo old that they have 2 entrances but that does not work to well with 100,000 people so we all herded into the stadium like cows. We finally make it into our seats and then the festivities began with the beautiful National Anthem being sung by Josh Groban and the fly over of the jets (those are sooo cool and loud). Then it goes down from there with your starting quarterback going down on the 1ST play and bringing in your TRUE freshman quarterback to try and win the National Championship Game for you. We made a good comeback in the end but weren't able to pull it off. I can tell you had Colt been in we would have "rolled" them (a little joke because their saying is "roll tide" and that was what all their fans were saying that they "rolled" us.) Still what a GREAT experience to go and the ride back to the hotel not so much fun with Quinn. Me my team loses I am bummed and then get over it, Quinn I think lost sleep that night and the week that followed. Thanks honey for the fun day and we still love our Horns!!!

PRINCESS PEYTON

In Disneyland you can have lunch with Ariel at her grotto. I think it was the BEST thing ever expensive but luckily Peyton was still two and was free. Just seeing how excited she got was sooo worth it for me. It was actually really good food and quite fancy. When we were getting seated the hostess kept asking where we were from, our names and so on so I just assumed she was friendly. As the lunch is about to start a "handsome" prince comes out and says we would like to have Miss Princess Peyton from Utah come on up here and be the "honorary princess" for the day. I was really confused and had to come up there with her so Quinn's mom was there as well and was snapping the pictures so I will have to get them from her. She got to be Snow White's friend the whole time and got a special prize from her, which was great because Snow White was Peyton's favorite princess while in Disneyland. Then while eating lunch all the Princess's come to your table autograph your book and let you take a picture with them. Very fun day!!
This was the dessert it was really cute so I had to take a picture. They had ariel all made of white chocolate and then a huge seashell from white chocolate. Best of all it was yummy!!
Peyton giving Cinderella a big hug
Belle as well
They have a princess boardwalk where you can meet all the princess's so some of these pictures were from them depending on which one she was looking at the camera. Call me crazy and I have not seen little mermaid in YEARS but this does not look like Ariel to me.

Peyton had a necklace on and it had Jasmine on it so Jasmine was like, "now who is that on your necklace" and Peyton was like "it's you silly" It was so funny!!

DISNEYLAND!!

For Christmas this year we gave the kids a trip to Disneyland. So that is why in part no pictures of Christmas I truly did not take one single picture. How horrible am I? But there wasn't a lot of presents to take pictures of. But anyways Quinn's parents came down with us and it was the BEST to have Papa and Mama there to help out with the kids. The weather was so nice it was even HOT some of the time. We arrived later on Monday so we went to Disneyland that night and then the next two days. I was a little Disneylanded out by then but the kids had a blast and that is what we went for right? Caleb and Peyton aren't huge into seeing the characters (beside the princess's) so we mostly rode rides the whole time. Caleb went on almost all the rides except Indiana Jones (the one ride he was soooo excited for) I felt sooo bad when they told him no, little tears formed but lucky Papa was right there to take him on another ride to cheer him up. I think we went on Buzz about 10 times, literally they both loved that ride!! Peyton got to have lunch with the princess and it was so fun to watch her she even got to be a "honorary princess" for the day. That post to come later.

I stayed back on this ride because Grandma actually wanted to go so me and Peyton stayed back to watch them come down. Caleb loved this ride but Quinn is covering him so you can not see him.

Peyton's Dance Recital

Peyton had her first dance recital about a month ago. Can I just tell you it was the cutest thing EVER!! She did really good, at first she was a little timid but then she got into the hang of it and danced her heart out. Her Daddy surprised her with a dozen roses in the end and she was so excited and kept saying she was a princess! She had a whole bunch of people come out to support her. Great job Peyton!! Sorry a lot of pictures, they were to many cute ones to decide from.
