TURKEY BOWL

We go down to St. George every year for Thanksgiving at my Mom's. I am a loser and only took pictures at the annual Turkey Bowl and nothing else. I was the cheerleader/referee this year due to the darn knee. Next year I will be there ready to whoop some butt. I even went and got flags this year due to cheating the previous years. It is a fun tradition we due with everyone but we sure missed Grandpa this year he has been there every year right in the mix of the game. He was probably watching down on us laughing. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

PRINCESS ON ICE

About a month ago Peyton had a mommy daughter date. I took her to Princess on Ice and she was in heaven!! It was a way cute show and that girl did not move the entire time. She is terrified of any character so I was not sure how she would do but they would come right by her and she was fine. Her favorite princess right now is Snow White, every morning now she asks if she can go to "Princess Ice."

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

We had another fun and exciting Halloween. Caleb wanted to be the boring Transformers, we did switch from BumbleBee to Optimus Prime this year and Peyton really wanted to be a princess but being the mean mom I am I talked her out of it and made her a little darling witch, probably the last year I will be able to do that. We go up to Quinn's parents every year and trick or treat up there. I wasn't feeling so swell with the surgery but I did not want to miss Halloween so I made myself actually move and walked almost a whole block. Boy that was stupid I was feeling it after but it was fun to see the kids and Peyton really was getting into it this year and was digging all the candy. Sorry this may be a little gross for some to look at but I want to look back at this "FUN" time and know what I went through. I fell last year skiing and hurt my knee way bad we found out that I popped my knee cap off so they popped it back in. After about a month it was feeling pretty good so we did not think much else about it. Then about 2 months ago I started having more pain so we went to the Ortho and he knew something was wrong with the knee so we went in for surgery on October 22nd. I unfortunately had a stage 3 torn ACL. So now I am going on day 9 of this absolute HELL. I had one setback which I got a mild infection in my leg and am having a hard time draining my fluids out of my leg which is causing alot of bruising and making my leg VERY sensitive. I have never had so much pain or be so jealous of my husband who is sound asleep on his stomach. You start to miss the little things in life that you take for granted everyday. I am so ready to be a mommy to my kids and drive. Huge shout out to everyone who has helped we could not have done it with out you guys!!!

GARDNER VILLAGE!!

We went to Gardner Village last week and lets say it was a MAD house I guess it was UEA weekend for Utah County and I think everyone decided to go as well. We went with Hailey, Kam, Laurie and my mom. We had lunch at Archibalds and then walked around looking at all the witches and did the petting zoo. Peyton, Caleb, Hailey and Kamryn

HALLOWEEN PARTY!!

We had our annual Halloween Bash! I swear every year it keeps getting bigger and bigger but still way fun. We had Mummy Pizza, Cupcakes, played games, crafts and played outside. I love how excited my kids get for the party Caleb was at school all day so when he came home to the house all ready he was sooo excited. HELP!!

I do not know what to do with my daughter anymore, she is waking up 5 times a night. So it started right after I bought her Snow White and she always talks about how "MEAN" the witch is. My friend was telling me her daughter was doing the same thing watching some other movie and once she quit watching it she was fine so SAD to say Snow White is no longer on showing here and hopefully this is the case and I can get back to a full night of sleeping. But the best part is she does not just wake up and cry she can reach her lights so she turns on lights, turns on her fan and of course her room is the coldest one in the house, gets all of her PJ's out, takes off her diapers you name it she does it. So this night I put her to bed with warm PJ's and this is how she looked in the morning, what's a mom to do!! Her way of dressing herself
You will be seeing alot of post to come, I am going in for knee surgery on Thursday and will not have much to do for 7 days so I will be getting caught up on everything. Until then I have alot to get ready for!
