WE WILL MISS YOU GRAMPS!!

With a very sad and heavy heart I write this post. My sweet Grandpa passed away this morning. He was one of the most active and healthy gramps out there so this came as a surprise to all of us. Sunday morning my mom called and said it was not looking good so I headed down to the hospital. We have such a great and supporting family that we were all there to laugh, cry and hold each other up in these VERY hard times. I have never enjoyed each others company so much and I know my Grandpa was there with all of us. We all got to say goodbye to him and let him know how loved he was. He is on to better things, like seeing my Grandma who has been waiting very paitently for 12 years to be with him, give her a hug and kiss from all of us. I know speaking from the whole family we sure are going to miss him so much. This sand dunes trip coming up will not be the same without you, but you will not be forgotten. I love you and miss you so much!! He is on the top row on the left(this is a very old picture but it is all I had)

"WOW I THINK I LIKE IT!"

I have been wanting to redo Calebs room forever but just never got around to it so for his birthday I thought we would surprise him with a new room. He has always said he wanted a Jazz room so I found a lady who could sew stuff on the comforter. I wanted the real Jazz logo but due to copyrighting she could not so we did our best to match it. We sent him off to school and got started, my Dad came up and hung everything while Quinn took him to Boondocks, then when he came home we took him up to see his surprise and it was priceless. He walked in and was like, "I think I like it!" But he does, him and Peyton play up there for hours now on the hoop (so he can get as good as D-will of course). I love how it turned out and I think it will be able to grow with him forever. His new bed!
Quinn was able to get his D-Will jersey signed
We got a "Do you measure up to D-will poster" he loves to see how tall he is getting and if he is as big as D-will (pretty much his idol if you haven't got that)

CALEB'S SPECIAL BIRTHDAY BREAKFAST!

I am a little behind on the bloggin. Caleb's birthday was on March 19th so we had a birthday party on March 18th and then on his actual birthday we made him his favorite breakfast Chocolate chip pancakes! Then he went to school then daddy picked him up and they went to Boondocks. Then my mom was in town so we had a little party here and had his favorite thing for dinner Tacos. Happy Birthday!! Peyton and Caleb eating their pancakes (don't mind either of their faces)

YUMMY!

My mom took all of us to the Sunday brunch at Little America. It was so YUMMY! I don't think I can eat for days after that I ate so much. Thanks Mom for taking us!The whole family!Me, Caleb and Peyton

GO COUGARS!

Quinn's dad had tickets to the BYU/UTAH Baksetball game on Saturday so we decided to take Caleb. It was so much fun, I have never been in that kind of atmosphere it was so loud and intense. The Cougs pulled it out and ended up whopping the Utes by 13 points! YEA!! Funny story though we had 2 tickets on the 20th row and 2 on row 3 so Quinn and me took the 3rd row ones and Caleb and Grandpa took the 20th row but the people next to us had to leave at half time so they told us to tell them to come down, so anyways they come down and Caleb was like WOW dad I am sure glad you had a lot of money so we could be down here. Then in prayers that night Caleb says, "I hope Dad can make some more money so we can be that close to the Utah Jazz next time." If only it was that easy. Thanks to the rich people who gave us those tickets now we have some high expectations from our little boy! Caleb and Grandpa

FRIDAY NIGHT FUN!

What the last couple of days we have had! Peyton started getting a cough on Wed. night & by Friday morning it was so bad and seal like that I took her into the doctors and found out she has Croup. And when this girl is sick, she is sick, crying 24-7 and requires me to hold her all the time.(I should not take this for granted I guess because someday she will not let me do this) It is no fun and it takes moms attention every second. Poor Caleb has been bored and has not had a fun mom because I was so tired by the time she went down for a nap that I just wanted to sit and do nothing. So I thought tonight we would center our night all around Caleb. We started off by having a pizza party picnic in the living room and for those who know Quinn no food is allowed in the living room so Caleb was in heaven by getting to do this. Then Caleb LOVES playing board games, so while at the store today (filling Peyton's prescription) I bought him sorry sliders and surprised him with it tonight. So we played that game 80 times and then we ended the night by letting Caleb set up a tent in our room and watch a movie and sleep in Mom and Dad's room. He is the sweetest little boy & is always willing to help me out. Earlier today I was in the shower and of course Peyton was crying so when I got out there was her big brother trying to cuddle her and telling her it will be alright, and on top of it he was wiping her snotty nose, which Caleb would normally freaks out over. So thanks little buddy I love you and hope you had a fun night! Caleb still trying to get anyone to play with him.
This one got out of order but this was what she was like ALL day.
Poor little thing I always feel so bad when they are sick .
Peyton literally cried all day long, but the second we got out the pizza
and let them be on the floor she was so HAPPY!
But of course it only lasted for 5 min. Here is Caleb all snug in a bug in his tent.

It was so fun to see how excited he was.
It's always the littlest things that make them happy!
Caleb all zipped up in his tent ready to have his campout!
