BIRTHDAY DINNER

I have the greatest friends a girl could ask for. They put together a dinner with some close friends and spoiled me way too much. 

 Andrea's Birthday was the next week so I made her get on the saddle with me. I HATE attention and so that helped ease the scariness of the situation:)

First day of 4th and 1st

First day of School...boo!! I was really dreading this year because Miss P would be gone all day. Caleb is the kind of kid that School is good for him. He always needs to be doing something, always is "bored" so School for him is great and Mom because there is only so much stuff we can do to keep this kid happy. Peyton on the other hand is soooo content just chilling at home and playing on her own. No joke she will play for hours in her room and I'm the one begging her "to play with me because I'm bored" She's been my side kick for the last 6 years and to loose that has been a MAJOR adjustment for me. I hate sitting at my house in silence...so I usually have my music blaring so the quietness will keep me from dwelling on my loneliness. I just really wasn't ready to send either of them though. We had a fun Summer and seemed to keep pretty busy and still had much more we wanted to do. So with that said neither of my kids listen to me and grew up and continue to move a grade every year...how?? Peyton was very excited to eat lunch at School and continues to love it. I haven't heard much complaining on Caleb's end either though..both got great teachers. For me I'm just trying to keep busy and count down the hours/min until my kids get home so I can feel helpful again.

24th OF JULY

Every year my awesome neighbors puts on a neighborhood party. They rent a taco truck to come, dunk tank, games, and then a great firework show, all we do is show up!!

We shut down the street and the people start flocking.

BOUNTIFUL PARADE

Every year we head back to the hometown of Bountiful and hit up the parade, carnival and then fireworks...2 of Quinn's favorite things. He's such a good Dad though and takes one for the team:) It luckily wasn't as hot as years before. It's a fun tradition and my kids love it. Laurie's awesome sister Lindsey woke up at 5:00 A.M. to go save us seats only to drive by later that day and find out the police took them because she put them out too early. Lame Bountiful cops.

We headed to the Kenny Chesney concert. I sure love me a good concert especially when he is easy on the eyes:)

 Peyton was bummed she couldn't come so we made her happy by taking a picture with her Daddy

 Quinn hates taking pictures and especially at concerts when everyone is looking. So I compromised and made Peyton take one of us before leaving.

I got to look at that all night long. :)

GIRLS NIGHT!!

Love me a Girl's night now and then. I especially love these girls and the great example they are to me. It's never a dull moment with these girls!!

NIELSEN FAMILY REUNION

Quinn's Mom's side of the family has a family reunion every 2 years. Those who want to golf go golfing and then all the Mom's (pretty much, since they don't usually golf) go play at a park until they are done golfing. Then we head to Quinn's cousins Jodi's house for lunch and to play some games.
