SUPERBOWL

We had our annual Superbowl at our house with Ben, Laurie, Dallas and Lindsey. This year none of our beloved teams were in it so we didn't care as much, all though Quinn had some money on the 49ers. They had to win or lose by 3, with seconds left of the game the GREAT Baltimore Ravens took a safety which made the 49ers only lose by 3 which gave us our WIN!! 

It was filled with good company, good food and great commercials.

Caleb has been playing Jr Jazz, he plays with his best bud Zach. He's rocking it on the defense not sooo much on the offense. That's ok we need defensive players on the court too...right??

DATE NIGHT

We planned a little date night with some friends.

 I love getting pictures and Quinn and Ben get really sick of me always taking pictures so they decided to make my pictures more fun. No joke we stand up and right as the kid is about to snap our picture I see my husband lean down and plant one on Stefanie. You can tell I am about to bust up laughing and I love Stefanie "she's like I'm still getting in this picture" she wasn't missing a beat. So needless to say that made for a good laugh.

So I made them redo the picture. 

My husband was a good boy this time but Ben is still a punk. Poor Stefanie it's right in her face again. You can tell Stef is getting ready to smack his hand...which Ben needs.

GYMNASTICS!!

Peyton had started taking Gymnastic lessons and at her gym they were giving away free Utah Gymnastics tickets. So we planned a girls night out complete with a yummy dinner at Zupas and then onto the U. It was a fun night with the girls and bonus was that Grandma was up here so she joined in on the fun.

VEGAS!!

For Christmas Quinn got me Tim and Faith tickets. It was a weekend filled with relaxing, sleeping in, shopping, working out, eating yummy food. On Friday we went to Tim and Faith and let me tell you they don't disappoint, they were so involved with the fans and at every show Tim pulls someone from the audience and signs his guitar and hands it over to that fan...how cool is that? They have a little sit down where they discuss growing up, who they idolize, life at home. It was pretty cool when you hear these mega stars really are just down to earth people who love family and their country. Then on Saturday my 80's loving husband bought me (really for him) tickets to Rock of Ages. It was a fun upbeat show and had a good time with our 80's rocker friends!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S!!

We decided to do something fun and different this year for New Year's Eve so we went up to Daniels Summit Lodge. We took the kids sledding, snowmobiling then came back to the hotel and went swimming and played games. A really intense game of Rumikub broke out with the adults which kept Quinn and I up till 2:00 in the morning (that NEVER happens). In the end we came up short and had too buy Laurie and Ben's breakfast the next morning :( The kids had a blast and thought it was sooo cool that they stayed up until 1:30 as well.

ITALY!!

My little Brother has decided to go on a mission. I love that this decision was 100% his idea. A lot of kids are pushed and pretty much told they need to go on a mission but Kendall has decided for himself. My Mom is his biggest supporter but would support him if he choose not to go as well. I'm not sure I am going to be a fan of him gone. What are my kids going to do without Uncle Kenny for 2 years? His mission call came while they were up here in Salt Lake so luckily we had a friend coming back to Salt Lake from St. George so he dropped it off at our house so we could all open it together. He has been called to serve in Milan, Italy. Looks like a trip to Italy is in my future!!
