GO JAZZ!!

My Mom was not going to be able to make it up for Caleb's actual Birthday party so she made it up to us by taking us to the Jazz Game!! My Sister knows a guy who runs the jumbo tron so they put Caleb up there and wished him a Happy Birthday and then later the whole family was put up on the tron, my kids thought that was the coolest thing ever!! We enjoyed a great game because the Jazz actually WON!! We were up in the suites and the dessert bar is the most ridiculous thing ever and now my kids are going to expect that every time now!!

INTERGRITY

Caleb was chosen for the Principal Pride honor roll for Integrity. Every 3 months they choose one child from each class for the honor roll, they did a special recognition for all the kids. They were given a certificate and award from their principal. The letter his teacher wrote to nominate Caleb was:

I nominate Caleb because he is always honest and fair with me and his classmates. He does his best to follow all class and School rules and encourages his friends to do the same.

Way to go buddy we are so proud of you and love you!!

MONSTER JAM

We scored some tickets to the Monster Jam and Peyton ended up going to my friend Laurie's house to have her very 1st sleepover so we let Caleb bring a friend and he brought his buddy Zach.

It was so loud but the boys loved it and it was a fun little night for Caleb. I personally don't think I will EVER be going again. My biggest fear is crashing in a car and this pushed me over the edge I feared for each and every one of those guys out there and I got more dirty looks from my husband when I would gasp or let out maybe a little louder noise then I should have. These guys are CRAZY that's all I have to say!!

ISLAND PARK

We headed up to Island Park with our friends last month. The kids were in heaven the whole time. We played in the snow, snowmobiled, slid down the stairs in sleeping bags(classic),ate way to much food, hot tubbed and relaxed.

Peyton and Kam had fun for a little while but I swear Caleb and Hailey NEVER would had stopped. Ben and Quinn pulled them up to the biggest hills and then let them go and then went and picked them up. Who wouldn't love sledding if you never had to walk up the hill?

And this is how it ends up. These 2 boys can never just sit and relax they are always betting or daring each other. So it started with Quinn running to the first tree and then ended with Ben going to the 2nd tree and somehow Hailey came into this bet and got $12 from Quinn as well.

DAY 28

Last of best of all the games!! It has been so fun to go back and read some of these posts and I am glad I did this. We get caught up in our everyday world and forget to stop and pause and love those around you. At the end of the night when you are exhausted and think about maybe I should have done this or not yelled at them about this, I read these post and remember ALL that I have and how grateful I am for that!!

*I love Quinn because he picked me to be his wife and mother to his children and I am blessed for that.

In the end I hope they all know how much I truly love them and what they mean to me. I sometimes beat my self up for not being more patient, kind, loving, fun.....but I hope they know that I am trying and hope that I never dissapoint them as a Mommy and a wife!!

DAY 25

*I love Quinn because he is such a sucker for our kids. I always just make Caleb walk down to the bus rain or shine, I was talking to Quinn today and he was sitting in the car waiting for the bus. He felt bad sending Caleb out in the cold and snow.

*I love Caleb because this kid loves to play board games, he would play games all day!! If we ask him what he wants to do it is always a game. I always know I can't go wrong buy buying him games but we are starting to run out of room in our closest.

*I love Peyton because of her comments. She slept with me last night(because we are out of town) when she woke up she looked at me and said "how did I possibly close my eyes that long, I went to bed when it was dark and now look how light it is. We went to the Parade of Homes all day today and after about the 10th house she was getting a little tired and she looks at all of us and was like "I can't believe you guys are making me do this" She had us cracking up all day!

DAY 24

*I love Quinn because he let me leave for a Girls Weekend and stayed back to watch Caleb and take care of him!!

*I love Peyton because she of course did not sleep through the night again I don't love that but I love seeing them snuggled up to each other. I got up at 1:00 to go to the bathroom and there was little Miss Peyton in our bed snuggled up to her Dad. That little stinker came down sometime in the middle of the night and snuck into our bed, I asked Quinn if he knew she was there and he said he had no idea, she is starting to get creative on getting out of her bed!!

*I love Caleb because my poor little buddy is having some SEVERE stomach problems I again don't love that but I love that he stayed home a day from school and I just sent and cuddled him and played games with him ALL day, no friends around just him and I.
