HOT...HOT...HOT

Hot..hot...hot is all I can say about this trip. We spent 95% of our time in Grandma's pool and then hit up the MGM hotel pool. I have to say I was kind of done with swimming pools after this trip. To shower my kids 2 times a day, lather up sunscreen every second I was ready to be done.
The kids love jumping off the rock
 LAS VEGAS
Quinn had a show down there so I decided to head down for a night with the kids. My Mom was able to tag along. We swam all day the first day and then my awesome Mom took the kids back and let Quinn and I go see the Michael Jackson Cirque du Soliel. It was an amazing show with amazing dancers. The next morning we woke up early got some breakfast and all the kids wanted to do was go down the strip so I gave them their wish. Not really we hit up the M&M factory and the Coke Factory, all while be chased by a man in a thong bikini. I think my kids experienced some things they will never forget:)

ZION'S

After Lake Powell we headed to St. George and Las Vegas. Much to Quinn's dismay we had nothing to do on Sunday so I made him go to Zion's with me. Quinn hates and I mean hates hiking. He is like one big whiney kid asking "if its over yet like 100 times" It was so beautiful though and a fun hike for the kids, my Mom and Kelly joined us. After we hit up one of the local restaurants and grabbed a yummy snow cone.
 Heading up on the bus

My Mom and Kelly came along
Look how pretty it is....how could you not like this?

Caleb LOVES hiking and always wants to go further so he went the extra mile and hiked up to this hike
These two not so much. Here's Quinn brainwashing her into how bad this hiking stuff is and she's happy to be on her Dad's side on this one.

 So beautiful
Almost home!!

LAKE POWELL -2013

The thing I love about summer is knowing that Lake Powell has arrived. I love, love sitting on the boat in the hot sun and enjoying the amazing scenery. I love watching Caleb enjoy EVERYTHING about the lake and Peyton....well we are working on her. We bribed her with a new bike (she needs one anyways) to try knee boarding she finally agreed but freaked the second it started and screamed the ENTIRE 20 seconds until Grandma MADE Grandpa stop the boat and let her Miss P off. I knew she was too scared to bail so I was going to be mean and make her go longer.

COATS FOR KIDS

We were invited to go down to Coats for Kids in Bountiful with Stefanie. The Burt's sponsor the whole thing so you are like a celebrity when going with them:) It's a fun thing with a whole bunch of new and old cars, face painters, balloon artists and yummy food.
Caleb is too cool to have it painted on his face so he went for his arm.

SUMMER FUN

We went swimming then....
onto some of the yummiest snow cones around.

FAIRY DUST!!

My baby lost her first tooth. It had been loose forever so one night Quinn tried to yank it, well it turned into tears. So the next night we were having a BBQ up at Ben and Laurie's. Ben has this magic trick to get teeth out. So she tells Ben "he can look at it" and 2 seconds later the tooth is out and Peyton is soooo excited!! She couldn't wait to get home and put her tooth in the monster pillow.
All ready for the tooth fairy

The tooth fairy even sparkled her dollars

SAYING GOODBYE!!

Our dearest, bestest buddies moved away from us :( The night before they moved we had one "BIG" sleepover. We ordered pizza, played outside, and stayed up WAY too late.
 Enjoying the pizza
Jumping the ramp, of course the boys have to push the limits and separate it further.
These 2 cuties riding away on their bikes.
