THE BIG 9!!

This little guy decided to turn 9 and not take my advice by not growing anymore. Caleb is such a sweet, kind, baby loving kid. He is a great friend to all his friends and never has a negative thing to say.   Loves his Sister (when he chooses to be nice to her), big helper to his Mom and Dad, loves to ride bikes and sports.

His best buddy Zach is born a day earlier so Deb and I decided to check them out early at School and let them pick lunch (In N Out), go shopping at the new Traverse Outlets (for Under Armor) then stop at the gas station for more sugar (thanks to Deb)

 This year I decided for his Birthday we would re-do his room. He gave me a general idea and a couple of colors he would like and then I ran with that. He was booted from his room for about a week and on his Birthday he was able to see the unveiling of the new "tween" bedroom.

We didn't have time to grab a new mattress so he got an air mattress for now.

 My favorite part of his room. Real lockers which hold all of his stuff. Plus a desk (only had one white locker drawer at the time)

 Somehow these got out of order but the night before his Birthday my kids get to sleep with the "Birthday blanket" They get so excited and can't wait.

I have always dressed Caleb and he has always obeyed but recently he decided to rebel against me and make his own style and heaven help me. Its all about comfort....basketball shorts, a t-shirt, socks up to his knees with basketball shoes.

Thanks to Deb for buying all this stuff for him for his Birthday because he knows his Mom wouldn't have bought them for him:)

Then of course his Dad decided to overshadow all my work in his room and put his new Dirt Bike in there. I'm not sure Caleb even noticed his new room for about a min....until he was done looking at the new "sweet, awesome, coolest bike ever"

LEADERSHIP IN ME AWARD

My sweet Miss P was nominated at School for respecting others and listening. This award couldn't be more true, she truly is the sweetest and kindest girl I know. I hope she continues with her attitude and love through out life because it will get her far.

Happy Birthday to an AMAZING....AMAZING friend!! She knows anything and everything about me....the good, the bad and the ugly. We talk anywhere from 1-7 times a day without fail. She's my go to person about life and I don't know where I would be without her. I love you so much Laurie and thanks for everything you do for me, your second set of kids and pretty much second husband :0

The kids made Laurie a cake...made fresh from mashed potatoes, salad, breadsticks and the candles were none other then crayons. Crazy kids!!

 We had a lesson one night about lying and spun a web of lies. The kids then had to try and go back and un spin their web. Moral of the story is "once you tell a lie you can not take it back."

 One day I checked this little guy out of School and went on a date with him. He choose McDonald's...(barf) but it was fun just to talk to him. 

 Peyton put on a magic show one night for us. Caleb designed the invitation and was her assistant

 This little lady hit 100 days of Kindergarten. Can someone please tell me how to freeze the time? I soooo don't like watching my kids grow up and become less dependent on me :(

Little Miss P decided she would hurdle a Gymnastics mat that was about 2 times her size and as she was coming down from her jump she slammed into the couch/ground. It was one of those cry's that you know is not going to be good. So I came running over and low and behold a little bit of her tooth had pierced through her upper lip. After pulling her gum off her tooth, got the bleeding to stop and settled her down it instantly starting swelling and got black and blue.

 This was the next morning.

 She was kind of funny looking with a big old fat lip. You can see above the lip where the tooth came through.

 First they are with my phone, second she wouldn't even let you touch her lip.

It was so black and blue inside for about a week but she is feeling much better and hopefully she learned she is no high jumper:)

GIRLS NIGHT OUT

I live in a neighbor hood that is AMAZING with even more AMAZING women. Every once in a while we get together just because we can or for a Birthday and have a great time just talking with no interruptions from kids!!

LOVE IS IN THE AIR!!

Had another great Valentine's filled with love for all my family and friends.

It was a CRAZY busy day due to the fact that I am the head room Mom for both kids classes. I pretty much spent the whole day at the School and then spent the rest of the day in the kitchen cooking all my families favorite foods. Then pulled out the yummy chocolate fountain and ate until we felt like we were going to puke!!

 Peyton has her Daddy wrapped around her finger so she got her own "personal" Valentine's from Dad. He got her a monster of a bear last year so we have now added a monster gorilla to the mix.
