LAKE POWELL

Summer can officially begin once we make our first trip down to Lake Powell. It was a blast and of course beautiful and warm, gotta love me some "sun" time.

We only got to cliff jump because Grandma didn't come this trip due to some injuries.

 Caleb was jumping off some pretty big cliffs and improved immensely this year on the knee board and ski's.

ALASKA

Quinn got to go fulfill his dreams of going on a fishing trip up to Alaska. Quinn's Dad was able to go plus Ben his brother Dallas and their Dad Dan. They literally fished from sun up to sun down...well actually not because it only got dark for 2 hours during the night. They had a blast and saw 100's of dolphins, whales and obviously fishes. The last night they were there a brown bear came walking by their cabins. He has a lot more pictures that I need to get but for now this will do:)

LITTLE FISHES!!

While the boys were in Alaska we loaded up the kids and all 7 of us headed down to St. George to stay at my Mom's. We arrived on Thursday night and we truly swam ALL day from sun up to pretty much sun down on Friday. Then we repeated the same thing on Saturday but finally around 5:00 we managed to drag the kids out and head to the outlets before 10 huge tour buses of Asians showed up and we felt bombarded so we decided to leave and grab some Dinner. Then woke up Sunday and headed home so we could see our hubby's!!

My Mom has this rock you can jump off and of course there was no way Miss P was doing it but little by little and watching everyone else do it she got the courage and jumped. I couldn't keep her off it after that and was even getting poses in the air.

She is not a fan of jumping off of anything. It usually takes her 30 min plus lots and lots of tears. I think she only hesitated briefly and then took the leap of faith!!

BRIDAL VEIL FALLS

One night before the Dad's left for Alaska (more on that trip) we decided to head up to Bridal Veil Falls to hike and play in the water. We called Ben and Laurie and they joined us.

Then they came back down and Kam and Peyton asked to go up but my camera died at this point.

FREEDOM..FIREWORKS...FUN!!

We had a great 4th this year, it really is my favorite Holiday!!

 It started off the night before when Quinn, Bob and Rick decided around 10:00 that night that they needed to run to Evanston to get some fireworks. They returned around 2:00 in the morning and were just a little to excited and decided to set off some fireworks. 

We had a little BBQ at the Tueller's and then came to our front yard to light off the fireworks.

I am so grateful for all the Men and Women who have and still are serving our Country and make it the best Country to live in.

HaPpY 4tH oF JuLy!!

SLEEPOVER

Caleb got to have a sleepover out on the tramp. We pulled out our little DVD player and they watched Spiderman. To say I was nervous was a understatement, I think I checked on him about 20 times during the night. The boys loved it they didn't go to bed until after Midnight and I just left the back door unlocked to come into in the morning and I heard him come in around 6:00 that morning. Luckily he feel back asleep on the couch.

CABIN TIME!!

We headed up to the Burt's AMAZING cabin and had the time of our life's. Between the ridiculous acres of land that was all grassed in with streams, fire pits, our very own private lake stocked with 100's of fishes, swing sets, and unlimited razor riding plus a little gun shooting. It's easy to say we were in heaven!!

 They had a "sweet" homemade raft that Jason took the kids on a ride.

 We of course had to have double the clay pigeons so Caleb was the puller for one and Jason was the thrower for the second one.

We went on like a 2 hour razor ride up a beautiful canyon, the kids were perfect.
