LAKE POWELL!!

Pictures got all messed up but o-well. We went to Lake Powell a couple of weeks ago with Quinn's parents and his Sister, Husband and little boy Tate. We tried new things, cliff jumped(which we hear is now illegal), and played in the water more then ever, so much that no parents were able to do anything because all the kids were doing things or swimming.

We had some CRAZY weather while we were down there so we had to bundle up some times and then were sweating our brains out other times.

This is the best thing of the trip EVER. Caleb knee boarded and then their little cousin who is 3 wanted to try so then Peyton said she would try the first time she did it she LOVED it and the 2nd time well we had a moment and screamed the WHOLE time. Quinn was with her and just laughing the whole time (look at the picture above)

FREEDOM!!

Happy 4th and 24th of July!! So thankful for all those who have and are serving our country!! This time has got to be one of my favorite times and added bonus leaving in Utah we get it twice. On the 3rd we had some Neighbor's over for a BBQ and then sweet Taryn went and saved us some seats for the Riverton fireworks.

We were worried about losing kids because it was SO crowded and Caleb and Zach had this "idea" to stick together. I guess it would be better to be lost with a buddy then alone!!

After the fireworks ended we were stuck in MAJOR traffic so we let all the kids get out and run around on the lawn for like an hour. We didn't end up getting home until like 12:00 that night. But fun, fun times!!

4th of July

We had a firework that sent off 27 parachutes all at once and the kids were in heaven running around getting them.

22nd of July

23rd of July

We headed up to our friends Ben and Laurie's neighbor hood and did fireworks up there with them. We had a yummy BBQ, snow cones and popcorn. We only got one minor injury when Ben thought it would be funny to throw some kind of firework at my husband and burn his foot.

24th of July

No pictures we put Chase to bed in our room before I remembered my camera was in there. But we had Ben and Laurie come over and of course BBQ'd and then all our neighbors gathered around for some more fireworks!!

FAMILY REUNION

Over the 4th of July weekend we had a family reunion with Quinn's side. They start the day off by playing golf and then we meet up at Jodi's house for the night for fun, entertainment, relaxing, yummy food, and great conversations!! They have a pretty amazing family there is sooo many of them but everyone genuinely cares about everyone and they all get along.

Caleb was way to busy for me. It was a boy's dream between all the sports games that were being played, sand, and swings he was pretty much non-existence all night!!

SUMMER FUN!!

We have had a fun and busy summer. We have consumed more water from pools, to sprinklers, slip 'n slides and lakes to last us a lifetime and then little Miss Peyton started gymnastics and has been loving it!!

ROAD TRIP!!

While I headed to St. George Quinn and his Dad along with 15+ dudes all got on their bikes and headed South to hit some of the National Parks. Crazy I know they drove 12+ hours each day all while seating on this tiny, uncomfortable, wind blowing your hair everywhere bikes. And he loved EVERY second of it!! They hit Zions, Bryce, Escalante and lots others I don't remember. Im just glad they got home safely and to top it off I got a text from my lovely husband informing he decided to buy one of the guys Harley that went on the trip with them, never a dull moment with that guy, gotta love him!!

The pictures got messed up but half the guys meet at our house before they took off and of course Peyton, who LOVES to ride on her Daddy's bike had to get a picture with him.

GIRLS TRIP!!

The week after we got home from Palm Springs. Quinn headed off on a man trip with his Dad on a motorcycle trip (post to come on that need to get pictures)

I then headed down to St. George with Quinn's Mom, Sister Pepper and Shelley and Sis-in-law Erin. We went to Tuachan for Little Mermaid and Grease. Thanks to my friend Laurie and my Sister Lindsey for watching my kiddos.

LITTLE MERMAID

It was so Windy that night and they kept telling us they were having "technical difficulties" but never really elaborated on what. So the show was good but I was not totally impressed they did not really follow the story line of Little Mermaid and only sung like 2 songs from the movie. I am bummed because I was so excited to take Peyton but it is definitely more adult then childish. Anyways the next day we went to a spa and the lady was saying she works at Tuachan at night and said last night was one of the worst shows, they could not do any water or flying due to the wind so hopefully next time I will like it a little better. The effects were really good and Ursula and Sebastian were definitely my favorite!!

GREASE

I liked Grease but the T-Birds in my opinion are supposed to be hot and the T-birds they casted not so much, it was a fun, upbeat show though!!
