MEMORIAL DAY!!

We had a great weekend for Memorial Day! We loved having our daddy home for 3 days and loved hanging out with each other!! On Memorial Day we went and visited some gravesites of loved ones who have passed on. I would like to thanks those who have sacraficed their lives for us so we can live in this GREAT country of ours!! We had very fun visting my Grandpa Thomas's grave who died in 2003, so Caleb never got to meet him so he wanted to hear all kinds of stories about him and it was fun to tell them. Then we went and visited my Grandma and Grandpa Roberts's grave. That one was hard it was to fresh and soon for me, but Caleb was able to tell us stories about "old" Grandpa and then I told him stories about Grandma who died back in 1997. Then we went and visited Quinn's best friend Mark who passed away last year due to cancer. It was fun to teach Caleb the meaning of Memorial Day and he loved putting the flowers on all the graves. Good memories and I hope we continue them. We love and miss each and everyone one of you guys and your always in our thoughts!! Then we headed up to Quinn's parents for a little BBQ and hike but I forgot to take pictures!! Here we are at my Grandma and Grandpa Robert's grave. Don't mind Peyton and her glasses she put them on in the car and no joking did not take them off until 3 hours later!
Here we are at my Grandpa Thomas's grave
Here we are at Mark's grave.
Caleb wanted to take a picture of us, I think he did pretty darn good if you ask me!
Sweet Mark!!

SAND DUNES!

We went to the Sand Dunes last week with my family. We have been going for like 20 years and this was the first time without my sweet Grandpa. We sure all missed him but know he was watching over all of us. We took his 4-wheeler with us, he was never a fan of others using it so I am sure he was up there mad at us for taking it around and going to fast and CRAZY on it (that is what he is saying)!! It was a fun time Quinn's little sister Shelley and her husband Zach and their little boy Tate came with us. We had only one mishap. We belong to a club where they rent all the stuff out to you. We have been very unhappy with them for a while (so don't do Club Rec if you are looking) but anyways we were told to be there at 3:00 so we were there and of course they have nothing ready for us (which was one of their promises) so finally at 5:00 we head out. About 45 min into the drive we are having people pass us and honking at us pointing so Quinn pulls over and we have blown a tire on the trailer and had been riding on the rim for who knows how long. So we pull of into these weeds and Quinn and Zach are looking at the wheel and me and Caleb are standing there and a SNAKE comes crawling across us! So I was soooo done after that, I HATE snakes. So we unhook the trailer, my husband is a LITTLE OCD and thought someone would still the 4-wheelers so we left poor Zach behind and headed back into town which was an hour detour, when you have a 5 year old who is so excited to get there and 2 2 year olds who are DONE being in their car seats, less just say we were ready to be there. We get the new tire drive back put it on and we were on our way. We finally arrived around 11:30 at night. What should have been a 2 hour ordeal turned into a 6 hour ordeal. All in all we had a good laugh about it and had a FUN time at the sand dunes. Here is Peyton and Daddy about to go and shoot some lizards with a pellet gun. (sorry for those who are offended by the shooting of lizards)
This picture should have been first, but here are the boys fixing the dumb tire.
Quinn went and got Caleb all this new gear so he could be safe on his 4-wheeler, so he was very excited. Which was a good thing because Caleb rolled his 4-wheeler, luckily it did not land on him just gave him a good scare!
Peyton loved the rhino!
(Don't mind how she looks she just spilled a entire thing of Gatorade on her)
Here is the gang as we were getting ready to leave.
This is how Peyton and Tate were the whole time just digging and having fun in the sand.
Tate and Caleb on his 4-wheeler
Peyton once again loving the sand!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Happy late Mother's Day to all the great mom's out there. I am doing alot better since my last post!! Peytons feeling better, Caleb is back to being a good boy and Quinn, well still working like a race horse but we still love him. I had a great Mother's Day Caleb made me a very special card and a cute bookmark at school and he was soooo excited to give it to me, so I loved it that much more because of his excitement!! Quinn gave me a beautiful ring with my kids birthstones in it. That was his way of saying we cant have anymore kids because there is no more room on the ring to put the other kids birthstones!! My mom was in town so we were able to celebrate it with her, we took her to Madelines, they had a good buffet. I want to tell my mom that I love her and appreciate everything she does for me and my family. She has always put her kids first and did everything she could for us as a single, working mother. I would truly be lost if it was not for her I honestly talk to her at least 2 to 3 times a day and I consider her one of my best friends. A bonus she is a GREAT Grandma and my kids love her to death!! I hope you had a great day and we love you!! Then we went to Quinns parents ward to watch Caleb sing it was pretty entertaining. He had a little to much sugar from the chocolate fountain at the buffet he was half way up on the wall of the stage and was all over the place, but still cute. Then we had dinner at Quinn's Mom house, she to is a GREAT mom and Grandma. She raised a very polite son whom we adore and does everything to make sure she keeps the family together and has a very strong testimony of the church. She is always willing to let us come sleep at her house when Quinn is out of town (because I am a wuss) and loves my children!! We love all you guys and thanks for everything!!

WHAT A DAY!!

Can I just go off for a minute because I need to or I might lose my mind. So to start off Peyton is SICK, well so I think she is but my doctor says it is just teething but I hate to tell the man who has the degree and went to years of school it is not teething. She is crying 24/7 then normally my little boy who is my angel decided to be NAUGHTY with his sister. It's like they are gaining up on mom they are fighting all the time, then while out running errands Caleb wanted to bring his Nintendo DS. I normally don't let him but I thought it might keep them from fighting so I let him. Well he decided to put it down and not pick it up, so when I asked him where it was at, he did not know or did not know where he left it so after back tracking to 3 stores I found it! Then we get home and I thought maybe if there are outside they will be better. Peyton finally found something that made her happy so I let her do it but little did I know that she was playing in an ANT farm so when she came over to tell me she had a ouchie I saw the ants all over her. So we got them inside in the bath and in bed by 7:00 P.M. Then my poor sweet husband has started up 2 companies of his own plus his regular job so he is working 3 jobs right now and is pulling in 14 hours days at work then comes home and works until 11:00 P.M. then is out the door at 5:00 A.M. again. I love you honey and am grateful for evrything you are doing for the family but I hope you come back soon we miss you!! So needless to say I am kind of like a single mother but am with my kids 24/7. Then I just heard a loud noise so I went to find the noise and I had just purchased a BIG thing of laundry detergent earlier in the day from Costco and it had somehow fell off my shelf unto the floor and just spilled the whole ENTIRE thing out so now I am off to better things like trying to mop up a 1.32 GAL bucket of soap. FUN FUN!! Then to top it off I have been taking Pilates and have LOVED it so much and is such a stress reliever but Quinn's not home to watch the kids and I don't think the gym would like me to show up with my snotty nose child so I didn't get to go tonight so sad. So thanks for letting me get some anger out. I hope everyone else is having a good day!!!!

BIRTHDAY PICTURES!!

I wanted my kids pictures taken for their 5th and 2nd birthday. My best bud Laurie has just started getting into photography so we thought the kids could be the guinea pigs for her. I think they turned out way cute considering my kids weren't really in the mood to take pictures. We took them down to Wheeler Farm and there was to much for them to do, so they weren't really sitting still to smile for the camera. I love them still! Thanks Laurie for doing that for me!
He loved to climb this tree and would never look at the camera for a smile, but I like actions shots as well.
It was kind of hot and sunny so Caleb was squinting in almost all the pictures. So this was the best one we could get, oh well still cute!
I can not get this girl to smile for pictures Her dancer pose
I love these ones, she had a hay day in this field of flowers/weeds

I have always wanted a picture like this so I made Laurie take one but little Miss Peyton did not want to hold Calebs hand right then, of course she just wanted Mommy's hand so I told Laurie to get ready and then I ran out of the pictures. So the front of this picture would have captured her crying and Caleb pulling her to make her hold his hand. Gotta love these moments!!
This one makes me laugh she loves her brother so much and he is so good to her (most of the time).
Not another one Mom!

HOPPY EASTER!!

We started off Easter with my family, still in town for Peyton's party. My mom did a Easter egg hunt for the kids with money inside the eggs. I do not have pictures from that beacause Quinn and I were trying to score some money as well so we were to busy running around. My sister Loni took pictures so maybe I could get them from her. They scored quite a bit of money so I made them put all of it in their piggy banks but $2.00 then we went later in the week to the good old dollar store and told them they could pick ANYTHING they wanted. Caleb really thought that was cool. Then headed to Quinn's parents house that night and had a yummy dinner and did a Easter egg hunt as well as Peyton's birthday party! Daddy and Caleb at our house on our Easter egg hunt
This was the only picture I could get of these two. One or the other would not cooperate for me.

All the grandkids at Quinn's parents house. All the kids are looking at the run away kid!! Great job Tate j/k
