DISNEYLAND

We gave the kids a trip to Disneyland for Christmas so 10 days later we boarded the plane to Sunny, warm and beautiful California. I was so ready to get out of the yucky, cold weather. 

 First day we got there we hit the beach and played for hours.

 This little one was suffering from major stomach pains so we had a couple of sad moments while at the happiest place on earth…so sad:(

 We made Peyton a bet before we left that she had to ride 3 rides we would take her to get the new American Girl doll Isabelle. The 3 rides were: Tower of Terror, Space Mountain and California Screamin. 

So here she is about to ride Terror of Terror…doesn't she look happy?? :) 

 Her face cracks me up. She is soooo mad at us for making her go on this. She HATED this ride.

Much better ride for Peyton and so excited that Grandma was able to join us for this trip.

 Caleb was excited that he got to drive him self on the cars.

I wasn't feeling great this day and Peyton really wanted to go on the Tea Cups so we made Caleb go with her. Quinn can't stand spinning so that's why Caleb is so happy to go on it with her:)

Such a good daddy taking her on Little Mermaid. I think we went 10 times or more. We owed it to her after making her ride the scary rides. 

We were the first in line at the Monster ride so she got "Screamer of the Day" we got to go in the exit all day. Too bad it wasn't for a better ride:)

 Last day and last second before we left she had the courage and rode Screamin and of course she LOVED it and was mad she couldn't keep going on it.

These two are so alike both walking down Main Street with their hands in their pockets.

BEACH DAYS

We spent another day at the beach and afterwards went to Quinn's cousins house who live in Huntington Beach. Bummed I didn't get any pictures of the kids playing. Thanks for letting us crash your house for hours Tad and Amber.

Caleb loved chasing the seagulls…me not so much a fan because then they flew over me. I might have had a couple of choice words to them my biggest fear is getting pooped on by one of those horrible things:) 

Then his dream,  a man walking up and down the beach feeding them bread. They were swarming him and Caleb was right behind them. I made a bet if he could catch one I would give him $100 so he tried all right but with no luck. Please tell me my Son will not be the weirdo walking down the beach someday feeding seagulls and talking to them:)

The final hurrah of the trip hitting the American Girl doll store and getting to have Lunch in the cafe with her new doll Isabelle. 

 And of course I made Quinn drive by the Dash store…love me some Kardashians. Let's just say they make it appear nicer on T.V. then it really is.  

DATE NIGHT

We headed out for a date night and to celebrate Bob's Birthday

We hit up the local Bowling alley and had the time of our lives. Watching Deb and Stef bust their moves on the bowling floor.

 Deb kicked our butts so she was #1 then Laurie, Me and Stef

 Quinn and Jason were a team. Ben and Bob were a team. Poor Quinn and Jason lost so Ben was nice enough and bought him some sweet bowling socks.

NEW YEAR'S EVE

We headed up to the cabin and Tuller's were able to join us. It was spent sledding, snowmobiling, talking, laughing, eating and staying up WAY too late. 

 We had a chocolate fountain that decided to go crazy and spew chocolate EVERYWHERE. So these two awesome guys were on clean up crew.

CHRISTMAS MORNING

We woke up to Santa making a stop at the cabin. The kids were so worried that he wouldn't find it but we gave him some great instructions on how to get there. It was a great morning filled with love and thankfulness for all that we have and have been given. I know we are truly blessed and I'm so thankful for that.

 She got a karokee machine and she was belting out some songs

 Caleb got some snow shoes and was out the door and hiking up the hill before we knew it. He said it was a little harder then he thought but such a great exercise.

We gave the kids a trip to Disneyland so we of course had to have a Mickey Mouse Breakfast 

 They had to go on a scavenger hunt and this was at the end

 Bag of fun stuff for the plane ride with their boarding passes and Tom was in on the surprise as well. 

Silly Tom (our elf) he packed his bag and asked if he could come as well but unfortunately we talked to Santa and he said "he needs him back at the North Pole to start making the toys for next year".

CHRISTMAS EVE

We headed up to the cabin for Christmas and Grandpa and Grandma joined us for Christmas Eve. We did some sledding, eating and wrapping.

 Cookies, Chocolate Milk and Carrots...all labeled and everything just in case the Big Man wasn't sure.

 Nothing more magical then Christmas Eve with the lights all aglow with peace and quietness throughout the house.

FLOWER GIRL

Peyton was invited to be her teacher son's flower girl at his wedding. They didn't have a girl or know of one so Mrs. Wood called and asked me if Peyton would be willing to be it. Peyton was so excited and I enjoyed going to see other peoples wedding, it was a beautiful wedding and an even more BEAUTIFUL flower girl.
