POOL PARTY!!

We had our annual pool party this year!! We invited all our friends and had a blast. We bought one of those above ground pools so that was a big hit this time. It was a lot of fun and we look forward to next year.

LAKE POWELL

I struggle at the order of the pictures!! We went to Lake Powell again in July and boy it was a total different trip this time we actually had a daughter who enjoyed herself, she is really taking to the water and I love that!! Poor little Caleb on the last day of the trip got sick so that made for a fun ride home!!

TOOTHLESS!!

He finally did it, he lost his first tooth!!! All of his friends have lost some and then so all he wanted to do was lose one. Earlier that day I knew if he would let me yank it, it would come out but every time I got close he would get scared. So that night we had our friends Ben and Laurie over and Ben was like "cool let me see" and then with flick of his hands out popped his tooth. So that night the tooth fairy came too visit him. At around 3:00 A.M. I am awoken by him telling me the tooth fairy came I say "cool and go back to sleep." Then around 6:00 I am awaken again to him telling me he cant believe he got $1.00 from the tooth fairy I say, "cool and go back to sleep. " 20 min later there he is again telling me that it wasn't just $1.00 it was $2.00 I say cool and by this time sleep is obviously not an option for the kid so I tell him to go to the couch and watch some T.V. while I go back to sleep!! So needless to say he was VERY excited and he already has another lose one so he is telling me to call Ben to come and get it out, so Ben it looks like you will be pulling all his teeth!!

4TH OF JULY FUN!!

For the 4th of July we went up to Quinn's sisters husbands parent's cabin (wow does that make sense). It was so much fun and a nice little getaway from the every day world. My little brother had come up earlier that week (can I just tell you how nice that was it was like having a live-in-nanny, I could get use to that) so we took him up there as well. We hiked, cooked some BBQ and then went fishing!! Afterwards my CRAZY husband had my little brother who is 15 and only has a drivers permit drive him up to Evanston to buy some fireworks, I think Quinn said he almost died multiple times. Then we had my whole family for a BBQ and fireworks I tried taking pictures but my dumb camera batteries died!!

While in Lake Powell they went golfing and took Caleb. Quinn said he was a angel and played the whole course like he was some grown up. He is really taking a liking to golf and we just enrolled him into a golf school that he goes to once a week for an hour, he is started to get really good!!

LAKE POWELL

We went to Lake Powell a couple of weeks ago with Quinn's parents usually Quinn's sister comes with us but she just had a baby so it was just us and his parents. It was a fun, relaxing, quiet time. Normally it is one person after another doing some activity in the water but this time not even a ski was pulled out. We just hiked played on the beach, buried daddy and enjoyed the sun!! We have come to decide that Peyton and Caleb are two TOTALLY different kids Caleb has always loved the water and is willing to do anything Peyton got as far as her bum in the water and that was just to pee, but she was still so proud of herself for getting in the water.

O-well she gave Grandma company in the boat and looked darn cute while doing it!!

GRADUATION...WHAT!!!

My little buddy has graduated Kindergarten, how can that be!! He had such an amazing year and I loved watching him learn and make friends. The last day of school they sung a couple of songs and then passed out awards and Caleb got the award for most like able!! His teachers just loved him and said they wish they could clone him and have him back every year and they said it is kids like Caleb who make them love their jobs! I love that he is so loved he really has the sweetest heart in the world. We could not be more proud of you and we wish you the best in 1st grade, he was already in full time Kindergarten so this 1st grade stuff should be a breeze for me. Congrats buddy!!
