BIRTHDAY PICTURES!!

I wanted my kids pictures taken for their 5th and 2nd birthday. My best bud Laurie has just started getting into photography so we thought the kids could be the guinea pigs for her. I think they turned out way cute considering my kids weren't really in the mood to take pictures. We took them down to Wheeler Farm and there was to much for them to do, so they weren't really sitting still to smile for the camera. I love them still! Thanks Laurie for doing that for me!
He loved to climb this tree and would never look at the camera for a smile, but I like actions shots as well.
It was kind of hot and sunny so Caleb was squinting in almost all the pictures. So this was the best one we could get, oh well still cute!
I can not get this girl to smile for pictures Her dancer pose
I love these ones, she had a hay day in this field of flowers/weeds

I have always wanted a picture like this so I made Laurie take one but little Miss Peyton did not want to hold Calebs hand right then, of course she just wanted Mommy's hand so I told Laurie to get ready and then I ran out of the pictures. So the front of this picture would have captured her crying and Caleb pulling her to make her hold his hand. Gotta love these moments!!
This one makes me laugh she loves her brother so much and he is so good to her (most of the time).
Not another one Mom!

HOPPY EASTER!!

We started off Easter with my family, still in town for Peyton's party. My mom did a Easter egg hunt for the kids with money inside the eggs. I do not have pictures from that beacause Quinn and I were trying to score some money as well so we were to busy running around. My sister Loni took pictures so maybe I could get them from her. They scored quite a bit of money so I made them put all of it in their piggy banks but $2.00 then we went later in the week to the good old dollar store and told them they could pick ANYTHING they wanted. Caleb really thought that was cool. Then headed to Quinn's parents house that night and had a yummy dinner and did a Easter egg hunt as well as Peyton's birthday party! Daddy and Caleb at our house on our Easter egg hunt
This was the only picture I could get of these two. One or the other would not cooperate for me.

All the grandkids at Quinn's parents house. All the kids are looking at the run away kid!! Great job Tate j/k

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PEYTON!!

Back on April 10th my little girl turned 2! Happy Birthday Sis! We love you and are so grateful for you being in our lives. You bring so much happines and laughter to us. This is the funnest stage they are learning to talk and their personalities start to shine. I love how happy you are and how much you love life! I love watching you and Caleb play together and be buddies. I love our nightime ritual and everytime I leave the room you tell me "I wuv you mommy!" I love how exciting you get when your daddy gets home from work. I love your kind words you always use and you know how to turn the charm on when you really want something. I love how you always are helping me clean the house (we have a clean fetish in common) and how you take such great care of all your babies! I love you sis and hope you had a great 2nd birthday.
For her party we just had a little get together
with my family and some friends.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
She is obssesed with Strawberry Shortcake so we had a "bob bob" party as she would call it. I am not a fan of characters so I found this little dress that had strawberries on it, so I let her wear that and she loved it. Now every morning she thinks she gets to wear her "bob bob" dress.
The whole set up of Strawberry
We had a chocolate fountain, boy that was sure a hit from the kids.
My sister Loni made this cute cake for her.
Caleb "helping" her open her presents.
She got all kinds of Strawberry stuff and so much more. Thanks to everyone for giving her a present. She loves them all!
Peyton getting ready to blow out her candles!

EASTER EGG HUNT!

Quinn's parent have a egg hunt every year in their neighborhood so we went up there on Saturday. Caleb got robbed they split the groups up and since he just turned 5 he went to the other lawn with the 5 to 10 year olds. Lets just say the older kids ruled the younger ones. I think he walked away with a whopping 3 but he didn't care, so thats all that matters. Peyton and Caleb getting ready to walk over to the egg hunt.
Peyton getting all her eggs. It was fun this year with her because she was excited and could run around getting them herself.

Caleb with his "whopping" loot.
Peyton enjoying all her many eggs. She kicked her brothers butt when it came to getting eggs!!

SWEET HAIR SIS!!

Peyton has always had some funky hair. It is way long and thick in the back but nothing up front, but watcha gonna do about that, but anyways a couple of mornings ago we woke up to this pretty DO!! I had to take some pictures to torment her later in life. Love it!
The best part was how normal she thought she looked!
This is kind of her new smile, gotta love it!

LOVE YOU GRAMPS!!

These got all out of order, but I do not want to redo them. On April 3rd we layed my sweet Grandpa to rest. It was a very great funeral and brought alot of closure for me and my family. It's always nice to have behind you and now we can just hang on to the many memories we had with him!
I LOVE YOU GRAMPS!! This was to funny! After we got up to the cementary the hurst broke. We said if Gramps was here he would be right over there helping them out. He was always willing to help anyone and everyone!
We did not take the kids to the funeral just the viewing so here they are next to "old" grandpa, (old grandpa is what Caleb would call him). Caleb was very interested in his death and really wanted to see him, then once he saw him he was OK and we (well Quinn) tried to explain to him where Gramps was going. That was a treat to watch but every single night since his viewing Caleb will pray for Gramps who went to heaven and then pray that Mom won't be sad anymore. So sweet!!

It was so freezing cold. It was raining/snowing all day, not fun!
